AI takes on doctors in prostate cancer radiation planning trial
NCT ID NCT06625034
Summary
This study compares two methods for planning radiation therapy for prostate cancer. It tests whether a computer program called RapidPlan, which automatically creates treatment plans, is as safe as the current standard where a human specialist designs the plan. The main goal is to see if the AI method causes similar or fewer serious side effects in the urinary and digestive systems.
