AI vs. doctors: Who's better at predicting surgery risks?
NCT ID NCT02741986
Summary
This study is testing a new computer system designed to predict a patient's risk of complications after major surgery. The system analyzes patient data in real-time and generates a risk score. Researchers are comparing how accurate these computer-generated scores are against the predictions made by surgeons and anesthesiologists.
