Can you tell the doctor from the robot? AI steps into the ICU

NCT ID NCT07025096

Summary

This study aims to see if an artificial intelligence (AI) system can give safe and appropriate treatment advice for serious ICU conditions like sepsis and ARDS. It involves 350 critical care doctors and nurses reviewing simulated patient cases and judging the treatment plans. The main goal is to see if the AI's recommendations are so good that clinicians can't tell if they came from a computer or a human expert.
