Your phone vs. your dentist: can AI help fight gum disease and prediabetes?
NCT ID NCT06980701
Summary
This study is testing whether personalized oral hygiene advice from an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help people with prediabetes manage their gum health and blood sugar levels as well as advice from a human dentist. Researchers will compare the two methods over nine months by measuring gum health and blood sugar markers. The goal is to see if AI can provide a helpful, accessible tool for improving overall health.
