Summary

This study tests a new approach to prevent delirium (sudden confusion) in intensive care patients. It uses an artificial intelligence system to help nurses make better care decisions and virtual reality to keep patients mentally active. The goal is to reduce the risk of long-term memory problems and shorten hospital stays. The trial will include 188 adults at high risk for delirium.
