AI coaches heart surgeons to sharpen their skills

NCT ID NCT07400172

Summary

This study aims to see if personalized video feedback from an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help heart surgeons improve their technical skills during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery. Participating surgeons will submit a video of their surgery, receive AI feedback on areas for improvement, and then submit a follow-up video one month later. Researchers will compare the surgeons' skill scores before and after the feedback to see if the AI coaching helped.
