AI vs. MRI: the race to diagnose Kids' fatty liver

NCT ID NCT07265011

Summary

This study tested a new AI tool designed to measure fat in the liver using standard ultrasound images. It involved 50 children and teenagers with or suspected of having fatty liver disease. The goal was to see if the AI's measurements matched the results from a more complex and expensive MRI scan, which is considered the best current method.
