Can a computer decide your GP urgency? huge NHS trial aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07237919
Summary
This study aims to see if Artificial Intelligence (AI) can accurately and fairly decide how urgently a patient needs care when they contact their GP surgery online. Researchers will analyze data from over 200,000 patients using a system called Patchs to test and improve the AI's decision-making. The goal is to understand if a better AI system could help patients get the right care faster while treating everyone fairly.
