AI steps into ER: training doctors to save hearts with smart scans
NCT ID NCT06567912
Summary
This study is creating and testing a new training program for doctors to learn a specific type of heart ultrasound used during cardiac arrest. The program uses simulation practice and artificial intelligence (AI) to assess the doctors' skills. Researchers aim to see if this training helps junior emergency physicians perform these scans better, which could lead to faster, more accurate diagnoses for patients whose hearts have stopped.
