NCT ID NCT06840210

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study is testing an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that helps emergency room doctors detect and manage acute kidney injury (AKI) earlier. Researchers will roll out the tool at three hospitals and track whether it improves care, such as catching kidney issues sooner and avoiding harmful medications. Up to 200,000 adults visiting the ER will be included, and the goal is to see if the tool fits smoothly into doctors' workflows without slowing them down.
