Summary

This study tested whether a large language model (like GPT-4) could help doctors follow official treatment guidelines for COPD patients at hospital discharge. 78 patients were randomly assigned to either receive an AI-generated treatment recommendation or standard care. The goal was to see if the AI could improve guideline adherence and reduce complications.
