First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether artificial intelligence can help more women in the Occitanie region of France complete cervical cancer screening. Researchers will invite 3,000 women aged 30-65 who haven't had a Pap smear in 4 years to use an HPV self-sampling kit. The goal is to see if AI-assisted decision-making increases the return rate of self-samples and ensures women with positive results get proper follow-up care.
