AI test aims to end chemo guesswork for colon cancer
NCT ID NCT07226115
Summary
This study aims to create a new test to help doctors predict which colon cancer patients will benefit from chemotherapy after surgery. Researchers will use artificial intelligence to analyze tumor samples from 200 patients who have already completed treatment. The goal is to develop a tool that can tell who is likely to have their cancer return, helping to avoid unnecessary chemotherapy for some and ensure others get the treatment they need.
