AI steps in to speed up Life-Saving stroke care
NCT ID NCT05874596
Summary
This study tested whether using an artificial intelligence (AI) system to monitor and give feedback to hospital staff could improve the quality of emergency stroke treatment. It involved over 1,200 patients from 20 hospitals who received a procedure to remove a blood clot in the brain. The main goal was to see if this AI-assisted system, combined with extra training for medical teams, helped more patients recover better function three months after their stroke.
