AI hunts down hidden roadblocks to stroke treatment
NCT ID NCT07257146
Summary
This study aims to understand the non-medical reasons—like transportation problems or lack of awareness—that delay stroke patients from reaching the hospital quickly. Researchers will use patient surveys, mapping technology, and brain scan data to train a computer model to identify which social factors most strongly predict dangerous delays. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help design better systems to get stroke patients the urgent care they need.
