Summary
This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) device could help doctors more accurately diagnose 13 different skin conditions, from rashes to skin cancer. Sixteen doctors (10 general practitioners and 6 dermatologists) reviewed 29 skin images, first diagnosing on their own and then with AI suggestions. The goal was to see if AI support improved diagnostic accuracy and reduced the need for specialist referrals.
