AI steps into the operating room: can computers make surgery safer?
NCT ID NCT07186803
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) guidance can help surgeons perform safer gallbladder removal surgeries. Surgeons will be randomly assigned to use either standard techniques or an AI system that provides real-time feedback during the procedure. Researchers will compare video recordings to see if AI helps surgeons follow critical safety steps more consistently.
