Summary
This study tests whether an AI-enabled robotic stapler can reduce complications like leaks after colorectal cancer surgery compared to a standard stapler. About 200 adults undergoing planned robotic or laparoscopic surgery for non-metastatic colorectal cancer will be enrolled. The AI stapler helps guide the surgeon on optimal firing angles and clamping to improve precision.
