Robot with AI brain aims to make colon surgery safer
NCT ID NCT07371832
Summary
This study is comparing a new AI-assisted robotic stapler to a standard stapler during surgery for colorectal cancer. The goal is to see if the smart robotic tool can reduce serious complications like leaks and bleeding where the intestine is reconnected. Researchers will measure how often these problems occur and how long the surgery takes.
