AI crystal ball: predicting your recovery after joint surgery

NCT ID NCT07333560

Summary

This study aims to develop a computer program (using machine learning) that can predict how quickly patients will regain their ability to walk and climb stairs after hip or knee replacement surgery. Researchers will analyze past patient data and collect new information from future patients to build and test this prediction tool. The goal is to help doctors better understand recovery timelines, but this is an observational study that does not provide a treatment.
