AI tool aims to detect deadly pancreatic cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT07045181
Summary
This study tested a new computer program (AI) designed to help doctors tell the difference between harmless lumps and dangerous tumors in the pancreas of patients with long-term pancreatitis. The AI analyzed medical scans and data from 113 patients to predict which lumps were likely cancerous. The goal is to create a tool that makes these difficult diagnoses clearer and more accurate, potentially leading to earlier cancer detection.
