AI tool aims to personalize lung cancer surgery for better recovery
NCT ID NCT07256457
Summary
This study aims to use artificial intelligence (AI) to predict how well patients' lungs will recover after surgery for early-stage lung cancer. Researchers will combine 3D lung scans and breathing test results to create a predictive score. They will compare recovery between three different surgical approaches to see which one best preserves long-term lung function.
