AI steps in: can a computer predict where liver cancer will spread next?

NCT ID NCT07444905

Summary

This study is testing a computer model designed to predict which liver cancer patients are most likely to have their cancer spread to other organs like the lungs or bones after initial treatment. It will follow 800 patients after their treatment to see how accurate the model's predictions are in real-world hospital settings. The goal is to see if this tool could one day help doctors tailor follow-up care based on a patient's individual risk.
