AI scans your muscles to warn of a deadly heart event

NCT ID NCT07476456

Summary

This study aims to understand if a person's muscle health can predict their risk of sudden cardiac death. Researchers will observe 421 patients who have a defibrillator implanted, collecting data on their muscle strength, body scans, and blood markers. Using artificial intelligence, they will try to build a tool that can forecast dangerous heart rhythms, which could help doctors provide more personalized care in the future.
