AI tool could forecast which breast cancers will spread

Summary
This study aims to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that can predict whether breast cancer will spread to other parts of the body. Researchers will analyze existing tissue samples from 400 patients who had breast cancer surgery between 2015 and 2025. The AI will examine patterns in these tissue slides to identify patients at highest risk of cancer spreading within five years after surgery.
