AI could speed brain cancer diagnosis, cut costs

NCT ID NCT07263711

Summary

This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can accurately predict important genetic changes in a type of brain tumor called glioma, using standard microscope images. Researchers will compare the AI's predictions against traditional, more expensive lab tests in about 2000 patients. The goal is to see if AI can provide faster, more accessible genetic information to help guide treatment decisions.
