AI 'Copilot' aims to take the guesswork out of surgical pain control
NCT ID NCT07253012
Summary
This study is testing a new AI-based software tool designed to help anesthesiologists better manage pain during surgery. The system analyzes real-time patient data to guide the precise dosing of a strong painkiller (remifentanil). The goal is to reduce the risks of giving too much or too little medication, which can lead to complications and longer recovery.
