First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether artificial intelligence can accurately evaluate how well surgeons perform a key step in heart bypass surgery. About 284 patients having their first bypass surgery will have their surgeon's technique analyzed by AI and compared to expert human ratings. The goal is to see if AI can provide consistent, reliable feedback to help train and improve surgeons.
