NCT ID NCT07458425
First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study is testing an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that estimates a person's chance of developing lung cancer in the next 3 years. Researchers want to see how learning this risk score affects patients' feelings, health beliefs, and whether they follow up with lung cancer screening or quit smoking. About 400 adults aged 50–80 who are current or former heavy smokers will take surveys before and after receiving their risk results.
