AI tracks jaw and shoulder motion in oral cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT06629038

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether an AI system can accurately measure jaw, neck, and shoulder movement in 40 adults—both healthy volunteers and oral cancer patients with stiffness or limited motion after treatment. Researchers will compare AI estimates to standard measurements to see if the technology can reliably track these movements. The goal is to develop a simpler, non-invasive way to monitor recovery and functional problems after cancer therapy.
