AI-Powered scans aim to see inside tumors like never before

NCT ID NCT04687969

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two types of medical scans (PET and MRI) with artificial intelligence (AI) can more accurately determine how aggressive a solid tumor is. It involves about 135 adults with prostate cancer or other solid tumors like liver or brain cancer. The goal is to see if this new imaging method can match or beat the accuracy of analyzing tumor tissue after surgery.
