AI steps into the exam room: chatbot coaches cancer patients on what to ask
NCT ID NCT07226934
Summary
This study is testing a new tool that uses an AI chatbot to create a personalized list of questions for patients with lymphoma or multiple myeloma to ask during their doctor's appointments. Researchers want to see if this helps patients feel more confident talking to their doctor and if they get more satisfying information about their cancer and treatment. The study will enroll 40 patients to try the AI-generated question lists and measure changes in their communication and satisfaction.
