AI could spare thousands from risky heart tests
NCT ID NCT06648239
Summary
This study is testing a new AI tool designed to help doctors choose the right diagnostic test for patients with suspected heart artery disease. For low-risk patients, the AI may recommend a safer, non-invasive CT scan instead of a more invasive procedure. The goal is to reduce patient risk, lower healthcare costs, and shorten wait times by making sure each person gets the most appropriate test first.
