AI doctors? new study tests computer vision to spot rare heart disease
NCT ID NCT07398950
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors find a rare heart condition called ATTR amyloidosis earlier. It will check if AI can spot signs of the disease in standard heart tests (ECGs and echocardiograms) from 150 adults with heart failure. The goal is to see if this AI tool is accurate by comparing its results to a specialized heart scan.
