AI heart scan could spot hidden heart disease risk

Summary
This study is testing a new AI software tool called CaRi-Heart® that analyzes standard heart CT scans to measure hidden inflammation in the arteries. The goal is to see if this extra information helps doctors make better decisions about treatment and early management for patients with or at risk for coronary artery disease. About 15,000 patients getting a routine heart CT scan will have their images analyzed by the AI at no extra cost or radiation.
