Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can save doctors time and reduce stress when writing patient handoff notes. About 90 hospitalist doctors will be randomly assigned to either use an AI tool that drafts the notes or continue their usual method. Researchers will measure how long it takes to write the notes and ask doctors about their workload and exhaustion.
