AI takes aim at brain cancer: smart radiotherapy trial seeks better control

NCT ID NCT06492486

Summary

This study aims to improve radiation treatment for a type of brain tumor called glioma. Researchers will use MRI and PET scans taken during treatment to see how the tumor changes, then use artificial intelligence to help adjust the radiation dose to different areas. The goal is to better control the tumor while trying to reduce side effects, in 60 patients over 2 years.
