First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 31, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study aims to train an artificial intelligence (AI) program to help anesthesiologists interpret stomach ultrasound images. Researchers will take ultrasound pictures of the stomachs of 30 healthy volunteers when they are fasting, after drinking water, and after eating solid food. The goal is to see if the AI can accurately tell whether the stomach is empty or full, which is important for anesthesia safety.
