Doctors test AI assistant for prostate cancer radiation

NCT ID NCT06964412

Summary

This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors more quickly and accurately outline the prostate gland on ultrasound images. This outlining is a key step in planning a precise, high-dose radiation treatment called brachytherapy. The study will compare the work of doctors-in-training using AI assistance against those doing the outlining manually.
