Summary

This study tests whether a conversational AI that collects medical history can make people with major depression feel more understood by their doctors. About 130 adults with moderate to severe depression will try both the AI system and standard care, then rate their experience. The goal is to see if the AI improves feelings of empathy during clinical visits.
