NCT ID NCT07086547

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will test whether an AI-generated educational program can improve how mothers manage their children's fevers and reduce their anxiety. Eighty mothers of young children visiting a Turkish emergency department will be split into two groups: one gets the AI-based training, the other gets standard care. Researchers will measure changes in fever management skills and anxiety levels before and after the education.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

AI-based fever management education (ChatGPT-generated materials)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could show that AI-generated educational materials are a useful tool for teaching parents how to manage childhood fever and reduce their anxiety.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage study with only 80 participants at one hospital. The AI content may not be better than standard care, and results may not apply to other settings or languages.
