Could a simple photo help spot hidden heart disease? AI study aims to find out

NCT ID NCT07277686

Summary

This study is testing whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help find hidden coronary artery disease by analyzing a person's facial photo. It will enroll about 1,400 adults who are at higher risk for heart disease due to diabetes, high blood pressure, or being over 65. The main goal is to see if the AI can accurately sort people into high-risk and low-risk groups compared to standard heart scans.
