Summary
This study tested a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to help diagnose brain and nerve diseases from a simple picture of the back of the eye. Researchers used data from 693 patients with confirmed conditions like brain tumors, optic neuritis, and other optic nerve diseases to train and evaluate the AI. The goal is to create a fast screening tool for doctors, especially where specialists are scarce, to help catch serious conditions early.
