First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether an AI chatbot on LINE can help clinical nurses cope with work stress, reduce burnout, and build resilience. About 120 nurses will either chat with the AI or receive static messages for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in compassion fatigue, burnout, and well-being.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
AI chatbot (LINE-based GPT assistant)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a private, on-demand tool to help nurses manage stress and reduce burnout.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 120 participants. The AI may not be as effective as human support, and results may not apply to all nurses.
