First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests artificial intelligence (AI) programs that help doctors interpret heart ultrasound images (echocardiograms). The goal is to see if the AI makes it easier and faster to diagnose specific heart conditions like genetic cardiomyopathy, blocked arteries, and cardiac amyloidosis. The study involves thousands of adults at Mayo Clinic and will measure how often the AI leads to a confirmed diagnosis and how quickly that happens.
