Summary
This study tested whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help find serious liver disease earlier. The AI analyzed routine electrocardiogram (ECG) heart tests from adult patients to look for hidden signs of liver scarring. Researchers compared whether doctors using the AI alerts diagnosed more cases than those using standard care over six months.
