First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study uses artificial intelligence to analyze standard EKG results, aiming to more accurately diagnose hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (a thickened heart muscle) and tell it apart from other conditions that look similar. Researchers will enroll 15,000 adults, including those with the disease, those with other causes of thickening, and healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if AI can improve diagnosis and predict patient outcomes.
