Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app that uses artificial intelligence (AI) can help people better manage their type 2 diabetes when used alongside their regular doctor. About 1,200 adults in China will use the app to take pictures of their meals for AI feedback and get support from their family doctor. Researchers will check if this 'blended care' approach lowers long-term blood sugar levels more effectively than standard care alone.
