First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study is testing a new AI system that helps anesthesiologists give the right amount of pain medicine during surgery. The goal is to avoid giving too much or too little painkiller, which can cause side effects or discomfort. About 150 adults having planned surgeries lasting 2-4 hours will take part. The AI analyzes patient data in real time to suggest the best dose, aiming for safer and more personalized pain control.
