Can AI make doctors more confident and accurate in predicting early birth?
NCT ID NCT07402668
Summary
This study aims to understand how different ways of presenting artificial intelligence (AI) predictions affect doctors' judgment when assessing the risk of preterm birth. Doctors specializing in pregnancy care will review simulated patient cases online, make decisions, and see how AI suggestions influence their confidence and choices. The research compares whether showing a simple yes/no AI prediction or a personalized risk percentage leads to better alignment between a doctor's confidence and the accuracy of their decision.
